Apple decides to let 3rd Party developers add applications to the iPod Touch, iPhone

As mentioned in our jailbreak article, hackers have been cracking and adding applications to the iPod Touch since it was released. Apple apparently plans to make an official solution to this problem which will be released in February. It's the iPhone SDK, and it will allow third party developers to make applications for the iPod Touch and iPhone.
