Clever hackers make the iPod Touch VoIP compatible

Many attempts have already been seen to add voice over internet services to the iPod Touch. VoIP is an internet based phone service. Users were upset when they found out that unlike the iPhone, the Touch included a disabled microphone. One clever hacker found a way to get VoIP working on the device.

We also learned that the audio input pins on the iPod Touch's connector are working and able to record audio. Modders and hackers are working on devices that you can plug into your iPod Touch to enable VoIP.
